Warframe Writing
Warframe is a video game I've been playing for more time than I care to admit. So much so, I'm not just one of the highest ranks, I was briefly #1 on the global leaderboard for Lunaro, one of its multiplayer modes. A dream of mine was to combine my joy of the game with my passion for writing. I almost had a chance once when a freelance position opened up at Destructoid.
However, they gave the job to a woman whose background was in tabletop games. And then the hiring official blocked me after I sent him a rewrite of one of Destructoid's articles that had serious factual flaws.
This page is what could have been if I'd been hired. I'll occasionally write an article as though I were a reporting outlet, or I'll rewrite some of the alphabet soup an actual outlet publishes.

There are two ways to inflict high damage in Warframe. Critical hits and using status effects. Both have corresponding chances of being applied, and both can be brought to over 100%. When it comes to critical hits and critical chance, it pays to exploit the math.
